i appreciated the proximity to the seafront , as well as the numerous shops nearby. the staff was indeed very helpful and responded promptly to my inquiries. the room matched the pictures, a welcome surprise , given my initial concerns.
i noticed the door frame had a makeshift repair , and it detached upon entry , preventing me from locking the room.

Basic Room with Some Issues

The bathroom was not very clean. I saw mold, it made me uncomfortable. The TV's WiFi did not work. I could not use Netflix. There was also a noise complaint, and staff knocked on my door right after they spoke to the noisy people. It was clear I had complained and this. It was nearly midnight!

the shower had good hot water and sufficient pressure.
The hotel lacked a physical reception. I had to wait outside until someone answered a phone call to let me in. additionally, the room showed considerable wear and tear, including visible yellow stains on the bed coverings. i found this quite unhygienic.
